Plot

In the mystical realm of Santa Claus, the question of the source of magic power sparks curiosity and conflict. To the elf Albert, love from human gratitude for gifts fuels this magic. But why, Albert wonders, is Saint Nicholas, concealed in an invisible sleigh, a necessity? Isn't it more powerful to absorb people's love directly? Driven by this question, Albert embarks on a daring quest, departing from Santa's land. Upon reaching Earth, Albert is met with an unexpected reality: no one loves him, no one yearns for his magic or gifts. As a consequence, Albert's magical abilities start to fade. However, hope arrives in the form of 11-year-old David, a believer in Christmas magic who tirelessly seeks it in the sprawling city. David's love for Albert is genuine, and he is willing to go to great lengths for his newfound friend. Yet, despite this, Albert's power continues to diminish. Is human love insufficient to restore it, he wonders? And if so, where can it be found? As Albert and David strive to unravel this enigma, they must do so quickly, or risk the unthinkable happening to the elf. A tale of friendship, belief, and the true essence of magic, David and the Elves is a heartwarming journey set against the backdrop of the Christmas season.
