In the heart of opulence, a tempest brews. Hugo (Gabriel Byrne), a man of considerable fortune, is ensnared in the gilded cage of his own paranoia. His beautiful wife, Ginny (Amanda Donahoe), appears to be the epitome of devotion, caring for their son, yet Hugo is consumed by jealousy. The incident sparks a power struggle that threatens to unravel the fabric of Hugo's life. Peter (Struan Rodger), a cunning business associate, seizes the opportunity to manipulate the situation for control over the estate. Meanwhile, Jamie (Douglas Hodge), involved with Hugo's sister, advocates for honesty and insists on reporting the incident to the police.
As the police investigation gains momentum, Hugo’s family forms a protective shield around him, intensifying the power struggle.
