Plot

In the dust-kissed town of Valley City, the unassuming Stan Bradford (Tim Holt), alongside his trusty companions Smokey (Ray Whitley) and Whopper Hatch (Lee 'Lasses' White), arrive with a thundering herd of horses. Their mission, a simple delivery to industrious construction engineer, Jeff Corbin (Dennis Moore), who is on a race against time to complete a pivotal telephone line. Should he fail, he risks losing everything to the sly and ambitious Caleb Wayne (Harry Worth). However, the tranquil plains are disrupted by Wayne, a man consumed by desire to seize the contract. He lurks in the shadows, plotting and scheming, employing every underhanded tactic to sabotage Corbin's efforts. Amidst this simmering tension, Bradford yearns for the serene comforts of his ranch, oblivious to the storm brewing around him. But fate has a twisted sense of humor. When one of Wayne's henchmen fires a bullet into Corbin, Bradford finds himself pulled into the eye of the storm. With the weight of a town's hopes on his shoulders, Bradford must rise to the occasion and take over the reins of the telephone line project. 'Cyclone on Horseback' becomes an immersive tale of a man’s unexpected journey from a simple horse herder to a town's unlikely savior, all set against a backdrop of grit, determination, and the wild, untamed spirit of the Old West.
