Paula Carson, a high school student, is caught in a whirlpool of teenage angst and terror. Her life, already complicated by relationship issues with her hot-headed basketball-playing boyfriend Dwight Ingalls, takes a turn for the worse as she finds herself the object of attention for not only her lascivious principal, but also Brian Woods, a classmate fresh from a stint in a mental hospital for the alleged murder of his father. As Paula's world spirals into a vortex of fear and uncertainty, the school's population begins to thin alarmingly. A series of gruesome murders shroud the campus, adding to Paula's mounting anxieties. She must unravel the mystery behind the chilling deaths, a task that forces her to question the motives of those closest to her. Could the perpetrator be Dwight, whose once manageable temper seems to have abandoned him of late? Or Brian, who despite his release, might still be harboring his sinister tendencies? Or could the desperate principal, with his unsavoury intentions towards Paula, be the one behind this reign of terror? In the nerve-wracking world of high school, where adolescence meets horror, Paula must sift through a tangle of suspicions and fear. Is it Brian, returning to his deadly habits, or is Dwight, the unpredictable 'bad boy', orchestrating a deadly game to emerge as the sole contender for Paula's heart? As the suspense tightens like a noose, every shadow hides a secret, and every secret could be deadly.
