In the dust-laden ruins of Pompeii, an excavation team unearths a remarkable discovery: a stone-encrusted body of a Roman, frozen in time since the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The body, clasping a bronze medallion etched with a cryptic Etruscan inscription, is a mystery that piques the interest of American doctor Paul Mallon and Italian archaeologist, Carlo Fiorillo.
