Plot

In the dust-laden ruins of Pompeii, an excavation team unearths a remarkable discovery: a stone-encrusted body of a Roman, frozen in time since the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The body, clasping a bronze medallion etched with a cryptic Etruscan inscription, is a mystery that piques the interest of American doctor Paul Mallon and Italian archaeologist, Carlo Fiorillo. Together, they embark on a riveting journey to decipher the origins of the find. Despite Mallon's initial skepticism, Fiorillo's intriguing hypothesis that the robust form may house some remnant of life begins to cast an eerie pall. Unbeknownst to them, the seemingly lifeless 'faceless man' possesses a strange vitality, leaving a chilling trail of victims, their skulls crushed, in his wake. Simultaneously, Mallon's fiancée, the gifted artist Tina Enright, is haunted by unsettling visions. Her dreams echo the creature's inexplicable yearning, drawing her into a bizarre connection with the ancient relic. This faceless man, encased in stone, becomes an ominous figure that inexorably intertwines their destinies. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they must confront the haunting reality: the creature, despite being centuries old, is very much alive—and it will stop at nothing to satiate its desires. The Curse of the Faceless Man is an uncanny tale of ancient terror resurfacing in the modern world, leaving no one safe from its stone-cold grip.
