Plot

In the vibrant heart of Barcelona, 2019, we meet Dani, a reserved young travel agency salesman, whose life is as predictable as the itineraries he designs for clients. His life takes an unexpected turn when his ailing father, whom he has been looking after, passes away. His sister, Laura, tries in vain to convince him to take a much-needed break and embark on the long-postponed journey of his dreams. One night, while he is contemplating a spur-of-the-moment decision to buy an online ticket and travel the world, he crosses paths with Mila, an eccentric yet bewitching woman. Mila, clad in black and adorned with tattoos, is as intriguing as she is unpredictable. Dani, captivated by her allure, finds himself drawn into her chaotic world. He accompanies her to her tattoo salon and even allows her to etch a permanent reminder of the night on his skin, immortalized in a Polaroid for the salon's wall. The night takes a sinister turn when the couple returns to Mila's place, where they encounter her violent boyfriend, Ray. Unbeknownst to Dani, he had been a pawn in a dangerous game—Mila was using him to provoke Ray. A heated confrontation ensues, and in a desperate act of self-defense, Dani kills Ray. The shock of the incident triggers Mila's mental instability, and she leaps to her death from a window. Dani finds himself in a deadly dilemma—his quiet life is replaced by a frantic race against time as the police encircle the building. He wipes the crime scene clean, erasing any evidence linking him to the murder, and seeks help from his sister Laura, a criminal lawyer. Laura assures him that the police have no leads pointing to him and that it is believed Mila killed Ray before committing suicide. However, Dani's fear and anxiety drive him back to the tattoo salon, where he realizes he's trapped in a hellish nightmare. With Ray's associates hot on his trail, he learns that one phone call can be more lethal than a gang of vengeful criminals. "Cross the Line" is a thrilling exploration of how one's mundane life can spiral into an adrenaline-fueled game of survival, revealing that the aftermath of a single deadly confrontation can be as harrowing as the act itself.
