Aspiring to claim the esteemed role of Head of Pediatrics at a renowned Chicago hospital, a highly skilled and ambitious young pediatrician finds himself agreeing to an unusual prerequisite - to establish a clinic in the quaint, heart-throbbing town of Dunn's Rock nestled within the serene mountains of North Carolina. Accompanied by his 10-year-old son, he exchanges the familiar hum of city life for a summer steeped in rustic charm and quiet simplicity. Faced with the stark contrast of life in this small community, his sophisticated city ethos starkly clashes with the unhurried pace of life in Dunn's Rock.
