In the aftermath of a heart-wrenching suicide that claimed her boyfriend's life, Celeste Dupont seeks solace in her work, stepping into the enigmatic realm of a peculiar mental institution. Here, the lines between sanity and madness blur, as patients, referred to as "guests," are encouraged to inhabit whichever role they find comforting, illustrating a unique, unconventional therapeutic approach. Eager to contribute and heal, Celeste arrives at the institution, anticipating her interview with the world-renowned Dr. Quilly for a coveted staff position. The interview concludes with the signing of what she believes to be employment forms, and she is swept into a whirlwind of excitement. However, her delight quickly morphs into confusion and mounting dread when she is shown to a room on the same floor as the patients. As the chilling reality dawns on her, Celeste realizes that she isn't a doctor in this labyrinth of the mind, but a "guest." The papers she'd signed weren't employment forms, but commitment papers, calling into question the boundaries of her own sanity. Stranded on the precipice of fear and uncertainty, Celeste is left grappling with the haunting possibility that she may have unknowingly become another "guest" in this uncanny asylum.
