In the early 1940s, the vast and untamed American West plays host to a ruthless land war. Jacob W. Ewing, a relentless rancher whose family's roots run deep in the region, dreams of reviving the era when buffalo freely roamed the picturesque valleys and mountains. Aided by Neil Atkinson, a New York businessman with shared ancestral ties to the land, Ewing embarks on a relentless quest to acquire every inch of land, using whatever means necessary.
