As the chill of Thanksgiving descends, the peculiar Turner tribe finds themselves embroiled in a tumultuous family reunion that rapidly spirals from mere awkwardness to utter chaos. The return of Nina, the long-estranged daughter marking her first visit home in a decade and a half, sends ripples of tension through the household. Her contentious interactions with Deborah, her steely stepmother, and Lindsay, her equally stubborn sister, ignite the powder keg of familial discord.
In the midst of this maelstrom, Jacob, their half-brother, grapples with a mounting gambling debt, desperately striving to keep it shrouded in secrecy. On the other hand, Poppy, the family patriarch, has his own bombshell news to drop, adding more fuel to the fire.
