Cold Skin (2017)

It's early in the twentieth century when the young and unnamed protagonist arrives at an island in the Antarctic Circle. He's been tasked with watching a lighthouse with the assistance of one other man. It's lonely and hard work under any circumstances, but there's an added twist that's making things far more difficult — strange and dangerous creatures that occupy the shore of the island. It will be twelve months before anyone returns to provide the men relief, and they only have limited supplies to work with. But it turns out that the veteran lighthouse keeper's relationship with the creatures is complicated.
