David Abbott moves into a new apartment. He quickly discovers that he's not alone: a woman named Elizabeth Masterson is already living there. The only thing is that she doesn't seem to be quite real. She acts a lot more like a ghost than an actual person. David eventually discovers the surprising truth about who - or what - Elizabeth really is. It completely changes their relationship.
