Plot

In the throbbing heart of The Red Party, John (Jonathan Wade-Drahos) comes to, his reflection in a public bathroom mirror triggering a journey back into his past. Once a simple cop in a conservative Illinois town, his captain's advice prompts him to seek a more understanding environment in the sun-soaked streets of Los Angeles. Trading the Midwestern landscapes for the pulsating energy of LA, John moves in with his cousin Tad (Daniel Kucan), who shares his home with his ex, Gill (Brian Lane Green), and his latest flame, party DJ Julian (Darryl Stephens). As Tad weaves a documentary about the intoxicating allure of the gay circuit and its hedonistic party culture, John finds himself drawn into this vibrant yet volatile world. A Hollywood Hills party introduces him to Hector (Andre Khabbazi), a male escort wrestling with his fading youth and physical appeal. This unlikely pair form a unique bond, a beacon of friendship in a world where superficiality reigns supreme. However, John is gradually pulled into the undercurrents of the circuit, a world steeped in illicit sex and rampant drug abuse. As he descends deeper into this whirlpool of excess, the question remains: will John find his way through the labyrinth of his new life or succumb to the intoxicating but destructive rhythm of the circuit? The answer lies within the pulsating beats and neon haze of Los Angeles's most infamous party scene.
