Oscar is an American who's been living in Japan. He makes a living as a drug dealer, while his sister gets by as a stripper. When a drug deal goes wrong, Oscar is killed, but his soul continues to wander the world. As Oscar lingers in the space between death and the afterlife, he has a vision of everything around him. He manages to see the lives of his sister and everyone else his decisions have touched, but he can also see into spiritual and metaphysical space as well. He wonders if there is an afterlife as he seeks out the opportunity for a second chance.
