In the bustling city of Portland, Maine, Lucy Lovett stands as the Executive Director of the esteemed non-profit Lovett Art Foundation, a position she inherited after the passing of its founder, her beloved Aunt Audrey. A peculiar turn of events ensues on a chilly December 17th when Lucy, clutching her wedding dress, slips on icy pavement, suffering a knock on the head. Shaken but seemingly unharmed, she embarks on a journey to the quaint town of Bedford Harbor, Maine, her childhood abode and former workplace as a child art educator. Her destination is the Roadhouse Restaurant, now run by her former fiancé Zach Callahan, following his father's death. Zach is taken aback to see Lucy, as their relationship ended in heartbreak nearly two years ago, and they hadn't crossed paths since then.
