In the heartwarming tale of Christmas in Mississippi, celebrated photographer Holly Logan (Jana Kramer) finds herself journeying back to her roots in Gulfport, Mississippi, just in time for the festive season. The town, still nursing the wounds of a devastating hurricane that struck five years ago, is attempting to rekindle the warmth of the season by bringing back their beloved holiday light show. Drawn in by the nostalgic charm of tradition and the spirit of giving, Holly willingly offers her assistance. However, she finds herself in a whirlwind of emotions when she learns that the festival is under the stewardship of her former flame, Mike (Wes Brown). Now, she must navigate the festive days ahead with the man who once shattered her heart.
