In the bustling city of Bombay, Meera, a doting older sister, pens a letter to her parents in the serene countryside, introducing a promising groom for her beloved younger sibling, Gowri. With dreams of a bright future, the elders - Pitambar Chaudhry and his wife, rejoice at the prospect of their daughter marrying an engineer, a product of prestigious German education and a beacon of financial stability. In anticipation of the groom, Pitambar goes all out, meeting the train and arranging a charming bungalow for the handsome stranger, Vinod. The Chaudhrys, warm and hospitable, quickly grow fond of Vinod. Meanwhile, Gowri and Vinod, amidst the whimsical countryside, find themselves in a whirlwind of emotions, drawing closer with each passing day.
