To maintain the facade, they recruit an unemployed actress to masquerade as the book's author. As the plot thickens, the actress catapults to stardom, becoming the lead in the film adaptation of the book. The tables have dramatically turned, with the actress taking the reins, leaving the guys in her shadow, and posing the hilarious yet daunting prospect of them secretly penning steamy novels for the foreseeable future.
