Charm School (2007)

Adela, the ultimate embodiment of rebellion, decorates her skin with three tattoos, marks her body with a piercing, and holds a recent arrest under her belt for alleged scandalous conduct. In an attempt to salvage his political aspirations of becoming Mexico City's next governor, Adela's father enrolls her in the city's last standing charm school for young ladies. This institution, led by Maca Ribera, pledges to mold any defiant girl into a "domestic goddess". However, it meets its most challenging test yet when the unyielding Adela walks through its doors. A power struggle ensues between Maca and Adela, turning the charm school and its vibrant array of students topsy-turvy as Maca embarks on a mission to transform the iconoclastic Adela into a refined and poised First Daughter.
