Plot

In the somber isolation of a secluded road, a prison bus carrying dangerous inmates from Seattle collides with a car driven by Dr. Douglas Madsen. The harrowing accident becomes the escape route for three prisoners, led by the menacing Arthur Palmer, who leaves a trail of executed security guards in their wake. Arthur's brother, Spence, is critically injured in the chaos, forcing the fugitives to take Dr. Douglas hostage, using his medical skills to keep Spence alive. Their frantic escape leads them north, towards the ambiguity of the Canadian border, where they stumble upon an antiquated cabin nestled deep within the dense woodland. This seemingly innocuous refuge is inhabited by an enigmatic family, their speech laced with archaic English and their demeanor exuding an eerie sense of foreboding. They advise the intruders to abandon the cabin while they still can, their cryptic warning hanging heavy in the air. As the night unfurls, the family's odd behavior spirals into a terrifying transformation. They morph into monstrous entities, escalating the night's horror as they slaughter the criminals. Amidst the bloodshed, the kindly Alice, a member of the peculiar family, spares Dr. Douglas, rescuing him from the grip of death. Surviving the nightmarish ordeal, Dr. Douglas is discovered by the police, his unbelievable tale met with skepticism by an incredulous officer. His words fall on deaf ears, and he finds himself incarcerated in a Seattle prison. The nightmare continues as he boards another bus filled with dangerous inmates, the echoes of his past experience reverberating loudly, as a chilling sense of déjà vu descends when a car collision mirrors the beginning of his horrifying journey.
