Plot

When Sam, a man tangled in the throes of unrequited love, convinces his friend Marshall to embark on a weekend getaway, the two find themselves on a journey that is more than just a casual outing. Marshall, oblivious to Sam's ulterior motives, believes this trip to be a simple step towards reconnecting their friendship. However, Sam has a different destination in mind: the wedding of Zoe, the woman he still harbours deep feelings for. As the weekend unfolds, Sam and Marshall find themselves gatecrashing a beachside party, a sun-kissed event that is supposed to culminate in Zoe's nuptials to Whit. While Marshall wrestles with an emotional rollercoaster, oscillating between anger, depression, and reluctant acceptance, Sam is busy navigating the complex labyrinth of love, seeking every possible angle to win Zoe back. "Ceremony" is an intricate tale of friendship, love, and the lengths one will go to recapture a lost heart. It encapsulates the timeless struggle of love against odds, all under the guise of a seemingly innocent weekend escape. As the sands shift under their feet, both Sam and Marshall discover that some trips have more detours than they bargained for.
