In a world of corporate power and intrigue, Larry Sorenson, a fresh recruit at a global conglomerate, finds himself abruptly abducted at gunpoint. The kidnappers, shrouded in mystery, communicate their audacious demands directly to Larry's wife, Elizabeth - they insist the corporation suspend all financial transactions with Europe, threatening to terminate Larry and other high-ranking executives if their demands are not met within a chilling 12-hour deadline.
