Plot

In the bustling corridors of Blair General Hospital, the young and ambitious Dr. James Kildare has been under the stern tutelage of the gruff yet hopeful Dr. Leonard Gillespie for three months. Gillespie, a seasoned diagnostician, believes Kildare has potential, but he needs to be honed in the crucible of real-world experience. With this in mind, Gillespie thrusts Kildare into the chaotic whirlwind of a street clinic, a teeming hub of diverse patients. To add intrigue, Gillespie assigns the charming and diligent nurse Mary Lamont to the clinic as well - not just for assistance, but to covertly monitor Kildare's progression. Life at the clinic takes an unexpected turn as Kildare is summoned to treat a gunshot victim, a man named Nick Lewett. The catch? Lewett is a murder suspect, cornered by the law but fervently claiming his innocence. Convinced of Lewett's innocence and propelled by the desperate pleas of his sister Rosalie, Kildare is plunged into an enthralling search for the real killer. It's a race against time as Kildare navigates the labyrinth of mystery and danger, all the while juggling his demanding clinic duties. This thrilling venture will test Kildare's mettle, challenging not just his medical skills, but his detective prowess as well, making "Calling Dr. Kildare" a riveting journey of discovery, danger, and determination.
