Plot
Danny Noonan works as a caddie at an exclusive local country club. The movie follows the adventures of Noonan as he works for the club's snooty members. It also follows the life of Ty Webb, a wealthy and eccentric golfer who has the ability to get under the skin of the club's more uptight members. Noonan, Webb, and Al Czervik, a crass club member, challenge the club's membership and get into an increasing series of bizarre and wacky shenanigans.
At the same time, the club's golf course is being destroyed by a gopher, one that is constantly being chased by Carl Spackler, the club's groundskeeper.
