By Day's End (2020)

In the throbbing heart of life's complexities, Carly and Rina find themselves grappling with their unraveling relationship. The once promising med-student, Carly, abandons her studies while Rina, a successful attorney, suddenly finds herself jobless. Their world shrinks to the confines of a cramped motel room, a space that fuels their discontent and exacerbates Rina's resurfacing depression. Carly, in a bid to recapture some semblance of purpose, invests her remaining funds into a camera, setting her sights on videography. As the fissures in their bond grow more apparent, the pair vows to mend what's been shattered, despite the daunting odds. But do they possess the unwavering resolve they profess to have? Time, however, is a stern taskmaster, and theirs is running out. Their personal turmoil pales in comparison when a deadly pandemic sweeps through their city, transforming its inhabitants into ravenous, flesh-craving beasts. With courage they hardly knew they had, Carly and Rina decide to document the unfolding horror. This shared endeavor forces them to put aside their differences and unite in a desperate fight for survival. In the face of chaos, the camera becomes their tether to reality, their lens into the hellish world around them, and perhaps, their only hope.
