In the bustling hub of Chicago, Sam Basilli, a final year Political Science major, is nursing the wounds of a dual breakup. He's lost both a lover and a best friend in Malcolm, his ex-boyfriend. To protect himself from further heartache, he makes a solemn vow: never date friends again. His college companion, Stasia Cooper, presents a stark contrast to him. Despite the world's perceptions, she consistently shuns commitment, declaring she has no boyfriend. Cue Valentine's weekend, Sam is thrown into a daunting escapade.
