Plot

In a quaint North American town, a doll factory serves as the backdrop for a tale of intrigue and suspense. Middle-aged Martha and youthful Kyle, both employees of the factory, share an unassuming life of labor and simplicity. Martha, a caregiver to her aging father, offers regular rides to Kyle, who moonlights at a shovel factory. Their routine existence is disrupted by the arrival of Rose, a young single mother who joins the factory workforce. Her expertise with airbrush and stencils quickly finds her a place in their tight-knit community. A friendship blossoms between the trio, but the harmony is shattered one fateful Friday night. Rose, after convincing Martha to babysit her toddler daughter Jesse, heads out for a date with Kyle, unknowingly igniting a chain of events. Martha discovers Rose's deceptive act of pilfering Kyle's savings, while simultaneously witnessing an altercation between Rose and Jesse's father Jake, who accuses her of theft. The dawn brings a chilling discovery: Rose's lifeless body in her home, a grim secret waiting to unravel. Detective Don Taylor enters the scene, his investigation casting a suspicious light on Jake, Kyle, and Martha. As the mystery surrounding Rose's death unfolds, the once serene doll factory town finds itself tangled in a web of secrets and lies, forever changing the lives of its inhabitants.
