Plot

Haunted by the painful loss of his wife, Sang-Hyun finds solace in the presence of his beloved daughter, Soo-Jin. Their world, already marked by grief, is shattered when Soo-Jin tragically becomes the victim of a horrifying crime. Despite the father's desperate cries for justice, the case stagnates, leaving Sang-Hyun mired in frustration and despair. In the depths of his anguish, a mysterious voice offers a glimmer of hope. It whispers the identities of the two men responsible for Soo-Jin's death, along with the location of one. Driven by a seething rage and a thirst for vengeance, Sang-Hyun follows this lead to the man's lair. Amidst the shadows of this dwelling, he uncovers evidence confirming the man's guilt. His sorrow transforms into a blinding fury. Consumed by the desire for retribution, Sang-Hyun exacts a fatal revenge on his daughter's tormentor. However, this act of vengeance propels him from the realm of the aggrieved into the world of criminals. Now a fugitive, he finds the roles reversed - he is the hunted, pursued relentlessly by the law he once pleaded for help. Yet, Sang-Hyun remains undeterred. While evading the police, he continues his solitary crusade, dedicating every breath to hunting down the second man, the remaining piece in the puzzle of his daughter's untimely demise. The movie, "Broken", is a gripping journey through grief, vengeance, and the relentless pursuit of justice, where the line between right and wrong blurs in the face of unbearable loss.
