In the glimmering shadows of Las Vegas, Jesse Lujack, a small-time hustler with a grandiose sense of self, steals a car and makes a desperate dash for Los Angeles. With a string of aliases to his name, Jesse is pursued not only by his own ambitions but also by the relentless highway patrol. A routine traffic violation escalates dramatically when Jesse impulsively shoots a police officer, turning his escape into a high-stakes race against time.
