In the pulsating heart of 1980s New York City, an unremarkable everyman's life takes a dark and twisted turn when he becomes enslaved by an insidious, disembodied brain. This malignant entity, a gruesome creature that has attached itself to the base of his brain stem, introduces him to an intoxicating narcotic-like euphoria that he finds himself helplessly addicted to. As the thrill of his newfound happiness begins to consume him, a sinister pact is revealed. The creature craves nourishment, and it's not satisfied by ordinary food. Its sustenance comes from the brains of innocent victims, and the once-average New Yorker is forced to assist in its horrifying harvest, turning him into an unwilling predator stalking the city's grimy backlots and underground clubs. One memorable scene unfolds in the neon-lit underworld of NYC, where the band Swimming Pool Cues sets the tone with their haunting track "Corruption". As the bassline throbs, our protagonist is plunged deeper into a gruesome tour of the city's seedy underbelly, grappling with his own morality while caught in a dreadful symbiosis.
