In the heart of an ancient church, where time stands still and shadows whisper forgotten tales, single mother Grace stumbles upon a cryptic book of resurrection. Despite the stern warnings of Father Cornelius, she cannot erase her discovery from her memory. Meanwhile, her son, Nathan, a timid teenager burdened with the sting of unrequited love for his friend Jessica, navigates the treacherous waters of adolescence while fending off school bullies led by Samson. When Nathan's loyal companions, Diggs and Henry, orchestrate a clandestine meeting with Jessica, a series of unfortunate events ensue. Jessica's authoritarian father confines her to her room, thwarting their rendezvous. A miscommunication leads Nathan to believe that Jessica has chosen the company of a suave schoolmate over him, a misconception that plunges him into a vortex of despair. With a bottle of whiskey for solace and a noose for an exit, Nathan succumbs to his anguish. As Grace returns home, she unwittingly triggers a tragic accident that leaves her son hanging between life and death. In her desperation to undo the irreversible, she turns to the forbidden power she discovered within the church's crypt. Nathan is revived, but not as the delicate soul he once was. Now, he is a tormented creature of the night, plagued with a gnawing hunger for human flesh. As he inadvertently turns his schoolmates into a horde of ravenous zombies, Nathan struggles to curb his sinister cravings while yearning for the affections of his beloved Jessica. This twisted tale of love, loss, and resurrection blurs the line between life and death, and begs the question: What price would you pay for a second chance?
