In the heart of Washington's political maelstrom, Harry Brock, a brash and high-handed businessman, arrives to forward his self-serving construction plans. In tow is his glamorous yet uncultured mistress, Billie Dawn, a former Las Vegas showgirl. Her lack of sophistication and social grace proves to be a thorn in Harry's side, often leaving him red-faced during crucial political schmoozing.
