In the secluded backwoods, Tina, a woman of peculiar, almost beastly physical features, leads an unremarkable existence, marred by self-consciousness about her appearance. Despite having a live-in boyfriend, Roland, a dog trainer, and the unwavering support of her Alzheimer's-stricken father, Tina's life remains largely unfulfilled. Her refuge lies in her unique job as a customs agent at the airport, wielding a remarkable ability to "sniff out" human emotions, particularly guilt and fear. This extraordinary sense of smell has earned her the respect of her bosses and coworkers and placed her in an investigative unit to uncover a child pornography ring. However, Tina's world shifts when she crosses paths with Vore, a suspicious-looking entomologist who shares her strange, animalistic appearance. Contrary to her instincts, Vore carries nothing incriminating. Intrigued and drawn to him, Tina forms an unusual bond with Vore, feeling, for the first time, she has discovered a kindred spirit. As Tina delves deeper into Vore's mysterious life, she unravels truths about herself that shatter her reality. Like Vore, she realizes, she doesn't belong to this world; her whole existence has been a massive deception. Faced with the eerie revelations of Vore's identity and her own, Tina must make a heart-wrenching decision - to continue living the lie she's always known or embrace the terrifying truth that Vore presents. As the veil of her life lifts, Tina's choice could redefine what she believes about her humanity and her place in the world.
