Plot

In the bustling heart of Bombay, three Non-resident Indians find their fates intertwined. Kris Sahani, a New Yorker with celluloid dreams, decides to trade the gleaming skyscrapers of his city for the chaotic allure of Bollywood. Meanwhile, Ricardo Fernandes leaves the sun-drenched shores of Sydney, bound for Bombay in a desperate quest to find his lost brother, Roger. Lastly, Zeres Mistry, hailing from the foggy lanes of London, journeys to Bombay, hoping to find the love his heart yearns for. Their paths intersect, quite literally, in a taxi ride to Colaba. United by their shared origins and common objectives, they decide to band together, navigating the labyrinth that is Bombay in their pursuit of an apartment. They find one under the ownership of Pesi Shroff, a flamboyant landlord whose affectionate gaze unnerves Zeres. But Bombay, with its teeming masses and relentless pace, isn't for the faint-hearted. Kris finds himself cast in a film touted as a disaster in the making, helmed by the eccentric Don Mastana. Ricardo, on the other hand, is left to the mercies of the local police, who show little interest in his brother's disappearance. As reality sets in, the trio soon realizes that Bombay is not the city of dreams they had painted in their minds. Their hopes and dreams teeter on the edge of despair, their aspirations morphing into nightmares from which escape seems impossible. In the tumultuous city of Bombay, Kris, Ricardo and Zeres find themselves caught in a whirlwind of challenges, each one threatening to upend their lives in ways they never imagined.
