Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj (2006)

In the charmingly raucous comedy, Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, the audacious and self-assured Taj Mahal Badalandabad, of East Indian origin, ventures across the pond to the venerable Camford University in Britain. Inspired by the high-spirited tales of his father's youthful exploits at the same university, Taj leaves his family and the comfort of Coolidge, USA, for the illustrious brick and ivy halls of Camford. Upon arrival, he is mistakenly swathed in a royal welcome by the campus elite, only to be cruelly humiliated when the reception is revealed to be due to a 'typographical error.' Banished to a decrepit dwelling known as the 'barn,' Taj finds himself among a motley crew of social outcasts, fellow 'losers' of the university. This distant wreck becomes his new home, a place where the sting of the aristocracy's racial barbs ('Curry-breath', 'Paki') and the challenge of mastering the Queen's English pale in comparison to the enchanting allure of the fiercely talented and buxom fencer, Charlotte Higginson. With her in his sights, he must also face her relentless attempts to see him dismissed from the university. Undeterred by the trials and tribulations, Taj channels his inner 'don' (teaching assistant) and adopts the role of an unconventional leader. With a wildly passionate spirit and the unwavering support of his newfound fraternity of misfits, the Cocks & Bulls, he dares to challenge the haughty Pip and his aristocratic fraternity in the annual all-round excellence championship. The ensuing shenanigans, infused with the spirit of Van Wilder and aided by a rather randy bulldog, turn the once scorned 'barn' into a battleground, sparking a hilarious revolution against the established order, one prank at a time.
