In the heart of summer, 12-year-old Vlad, a daydreaming storyteller, has a penchant for spinning tales of bravado to his camp friends, despite his own timid nature. His stories, however, take an unexpected leap from fiction to reality when he unwittingly stumbles into the midst of a cosmic conflict between two alien forces. The Trashmen, shapeshifting remnants of an ancient extraterrestrial civilization, hatch a sinister plot to plunge Earth into darkness by disabling the defensive shield protecting it from a lethal solar wave. Their aim is to challenge the omnipotent Energy - a mysterious force that has propelled humanity's technological advancements and on which our survival precariously hangs. In this high-stakes battle, Vlad’s unlikely comrades include a transformer box known as the Bobot, a gutsy girl with a heart of steel, and a quirky scientist. The Bobot, in particular, holds the key to thwarting the impending global catastrophe. As Vlad weaves through this real-life adventure, he realizes that while fabricating tales of courage is effortless, facing his own fears in the face of true danger is an entirely different game. The fate of humanity now rests solely in the hands of this young boy who must rise from his own self-doubt to become the unlikely hero of his own story.
