Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, "Blue Sky" unfolds the turbulent life of nuclear engineer and US Army Major, Hank Marshall. Tasked with top-secret nuclear testing projects, his career becomes a rollercoaster ride, not solely due to his professional obligations, but largely due to his tempestuous wife, Carly Marshall. Emulating the overt sexuality of icons like Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot, Carly, a bipolar beauty, oscillates between destructive behaviors and tantalizing flirtations, creating ripples in their lives. Despite the upheavals, the bond between Hank and Carly remains unbroken.
