Bloody Moon (1981)

In the haunting shadows of the Costa Del Sol, Miguel, a man marred by a grotesquely scarred countenance, spirals into a pit of unrestrained savagery, culminating in a nightmarish masquerade party. The night ends in bloodshed, as he assaults a girl, before gruesomely mutilating her with a pair of scissors. Following this heinous act, Miguel is consigned to a mental asylum for five years. Upon his release, the care of this deeply disturbed individual falls to his sister, Manuela. Together with their wheelchair-bound mother, they run Europe's International Youth-Club Boarding School of Languages, nestled amidst the sun-soaked Spanish resort. Miguel's twisted fascination fixates on Angela, a brunette enchantress he first glimpses on his journey from the sanitarium. His obsession grows, his shadow incessantly trailing her. A forbidden reunion with Manuela ensues, as Miguel yearns to reignite their incestuous bond. Manuela, however, refuses, citing their past transgressions as the root of his mental instability. Yet, she dreams of a time when they could be together, unburdened by the world's judgment. Suddenly, Angela's friends begin to meet their untimely demises. A parade of gruesome deaths unfolds, from a chilling impalement to a shocking decapitation amidst the rusty relics of an abandoned lumber mill. A young boy is gruesomely crushed beneath a Mercedes, another victim is asphyxiated by smoldering fireplace tongs. The horror escalates with a snake's real-life decapitation. When bodies begin disappearing, Angela's warnings about a lurking killer fall on deaf ears. Having witnessed a friend's lifeless body only to have it vanish before she can bring help, Angela is plunged into a state of terror and confusion. In her desperation, she turns to the very people who run the school, unaware of the chilling secrets they harbor.
