In the shadowy remnants of Covelo, California, Jake Reid is drawn towards the echoes of a bloody past that claimed his father's life. Fifteen years ago, a disastrous robbery unfolded in this small western town, leaving behind a legacy of bloodshed, a missing treasure, and countless unanswered questions. Jake, driven by the dual allure of uncovering the truth and recovering the buried riches, finds himself delving too deeply into the sands of time. As he painstakingly unravels the mystery surrounding his father's untimely demise, Jake forms an unlikely alliance with the daughter of a man whose life his father extinguished.
