Let Him Go (2020)

In 2020's "Let Him Go," a retired sheriff and his wife, George & Margaret Blackledge, must set aside their grief over their son's death to secure the welfare of their only grandson. Following the sudden death of their son, James, in a horseback riding accident, the grieving couple watch as their daughter-in-law, Lorna, marries a man named Donnie Weboy a short time after James' death. Lorna feels she has no choice but to remarry to provide financial security for herself and her son's future. Soon afterward, the Blackledges learn disturbing details about the Weboy Family and their criminal connections, which escalate their fears for the welfare of Lorna and their grandson, Jimmy. An impressive cast drives the story of the lengths people will go to protect their families.
