Meet Anna, a vivacious nine-year-old whose life was once filled with laughter and the simple pleasures of childhood. Her days were colored with the tantalizing aroma of Cuban dishes prepared by her nanny, the warm glow of pre-dinner baths and enlightening catechism classes at her Catholic school. But the arrival of her Aunt Marga and Cousin Pilar upturned her world, transforming her life into an unrecognizable kaleidoscope of new words and ideas.
