In the quaint and eccentric town of Little Hope, we find Kelly - an ambitious, yet reserved lesbian aiming for a career as a TV news reporter. Her corporate journey takes a detour when she's dispatched to Little Hope on an assignment for her market research firm. Alongside her is Linda, a chatty and whimsical camera operator who revels in life's unpredictability. Their journey takes a peculiar turn when they're forced to take up residence in a bustling youth hostel - a hive of eccentric characters that leaves Kelly on edge but delights the free-spirited Linda. The tension thickens when Linda crosses paths with a past lover who's now trapped in a mundane life as a discontent housewife. As a final twist of humour, Linda proposes they put their dubious skills to the test by capturing a human interest story at Little Hope's renowned annual Chili Cook-Off. With a pinch of chaos, a dash of romance, and a whole lot of chili, "Big Dreams in Little Hope" serves up a hearty portion of laughter and life's unexpected turns.
