Between Waves (2018)

Celebrated author Rick Gray (Faust Checho), despite the trappings of success and a sea of devoted fans, finds himself in the throes of a midlife crisis. In a daring bid to recapture his youth, he journeys back to the sun-drenched beaches of his coastal Florida hometown. Aided by his two boyhood comrades (Andy Ahrens and Ben Cain), Rick embarks on a nostalgic quest to recover his first automotive love - a cherry-red '66 Mustang. Fate interweaves his path with that of his distant father (William Russ) and Sheri (Amy Jo Johnson), his first sweetheart and a free-spirited surfer, whom he had abandoned to chase his ambitions. As he grapples with the ghosts of his past, Rick discovers that despite life's twists and turns, true contentment may lie nestled in the familiar embrace of his beginnings.
