Plot

In the year of 1989, a rare neural disorder known as congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis (CIPA) marks the life of young Martin Bristol, depriving him of the ability to feel pain, heat, or cold. His life takes a terrifying turn when he's seized by unhinged serial killer, Graham Sutter, and dragged into the grimy confines of an abandoned slaughterhouse, the infamous Sutter's Meat & Poultry in Minersville, Pennsylvania. This forgotten plant serves as Graham's chilling stage for the brutal massacres of kidnapped young women. Fast forward five years, the narrative intertwines with the life of the resolute seventeen-year-old Allison Miller, who, following the devastating loss of her parents, finds herself in the care of her uncle Jonathan Miller. Their home is a stone's throw away from the dilapidated meat-packing plant. Greeted by Jonathan, his wife Karen, and their darling daughter Wendy, the grieving Allison remains distant, her mind entangled in her personal anguish. A fervent runner, Allison's path crosses the eerie meat-packing plant and leads her to the enigmatic mechanic, William "Billy". A budding attraction blossoms, much to the disapproval of her prudent uncle. Jonathan warns Allison to steer clear of both the ominous factory and the rebellious Billy. But Allison, headstrong and defiant, pays no heed, unwittingly inviting a harrowing tragedy upon the Miller family.
