Bad Dreams (1988)

In the sinister shadows of the mid-70s, a horrific event unfolds as Unity Fields, a nefarious cult, willingly embraces death by fire under the warped guidance of their malevolent leader, Harris. Amidst the ashes, a single survivor emerges - a young woman named Cynthia, whose mind is a locked vault of the nightmarish ordeal. Thirteen years of silence shroud Cynthia in a coma, her memory washed clean of the tragedy. As she awakens in a psychiatric ward, she's a blank canvas, the incident a forgotten echo. As her psychiatrist attempts to piece together Cynthia's fractured past, the veil between the living and the dead begins to thin. Cynthia is haunted by spectral apparitions of Harris, his voice a chilling whisper from beyond the grave, painting her waking hours with grim reminders of Unity Fields' fatal end.
