In the backroads of obscurity, Ray Bennett, a solitary proprietor of a video store, finds himself yearning for a sabbatical to reconsider his life's trajectory. During his introspective journey, he stumbles upon Harley, a bewitching enigma with a shadowed past as an ex-convict.
