Out of the blue, after years of marriage, the affluent industrialist, Jacques Decrey, finds out that his beloved wife, Gloria, is cheating on him with the unemployed young actor, Yves Normand. Under those circumstances, betrayed and humiliated, the wronged husband concocts an elaborate scheme, designed to punish the brazen clandestine lovers.
