In the heartland of a tranquil small town, Joey (Kiersey Clemons), a humble waitress, finds her life irrevocably altered after a nightmarish encounter with her old companion, Mike (Casey Cott). Her world takes another twist when she crosses paths with the enigmatic Regina (Alexandra Shipp), who ushers her into a sisterhood of formidable femmes - The Cherry Bombers. Comprising Beatrice (Vanessa Hudgens), Lily (Leslie Stratton), Sal (Radha Mitchell), Jett (Leyna Bloom), Angie (Lisa Yaro), Fala (Casey Camp-Horinek), and Rudy (Gabourey Sidibe), each member of this all-women gang bears the scars of past traumas, united by a shared purpose. The Cherry Bombers wage a relentless battle against the festering misogyny of their society.
