Saving Mr. Banks (2013)

When Walt Disney promised his young daughters that he would make P.L. Travers' book, "Mary Poppins," into a film, he did not realize that the process would take over two decades. In his journey to acquire the rights, he comes across a cross writer who does not want to give up her beloved characters. But, as money gets tighter and the books have less demand, Travers agrees to come to L.A. and hear Disney's proposition. What will it take for this reluctant author to come around to Disney's proposal, and how will the movie be made?
