In an eerily satirical vision of the near future, we enter the world of Syd March, an employee at a peculiar clinic. This clinic deals in a most unconventional commodity: live viruses harvested from the bodies of ill celebrities, sold as biological communion to their obsessive fans. For a hefty price, anyone can share in the intimate suffering of the stars. Syd, however, plays a dangerous double game. He smuggles these coveted viruses from the clinic within his own veins, supplying illegal samples to piracy groups eager for a piece of the lucrative celebrity disease market. But Syd's risky game spirals out of control when he becomes infected with the lethal disease that claimed the life of the superstar sensation, Hannah Geist. Suddenly, he finds himself in the crosshairs of rabid fans and insatiable collectors. His body now a ticking time bomb and a valuable commodity, he must decipher the enigma surrounding Hannah's untimely death before he too meets the same grim fate. In this chillingly prophetic dystopia, Antiviral presents a twisted tale of celebrity obsession and biological piracy. It's a journey through a world where fame is a sickness, and the cure could be deadly.
